Join our rapidly expanding team working to transform fish health in the aquaculture industry.

WellFish Tech is developing the global standard for aquatic health management through continuous fish health monitoring using rapid clinical chemistry analysis resulting in predictive fish health forecasting. We are looking for a passionate, ambitious new member of our commercial team to help drive sales throughout Norway to help meet our ambitious growth targets for 2024 and beyond. In this role, you must have a genuine interest in aquaculture and are passionate about making an early-stage company succeed. Key to the role is the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Norway director to identify, develop, and coordinate new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate customer relationships to drive sales and achieve growth targets.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the commercial plan for customers, revenue, profitability, and reputation.
  • Assist and monitor the company budget and business unit KPIs.

This position will require significant travel, particularly for developing customer relationships in the north of Norway.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Sales/commercial experience is a plus, particularly to develop and grow new markets. 
  • Experience in aquaculture-related technical sales and solution selling.
  • Eperience in the aquaculture industry (specifically from the salmonids sector). 

Personal attributes/characteristics:

  • Target-driven with excellent customer-focused skills.
  • Ability to build and develop relationships at all levels.
  • A self-starter comfortable collaborating with colleagues in various fields.
  • Highly autonomous with effective time management abilities.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally as required.
  • Understanding and passion for the aquaculture industry.

Being sociable, talkative, and lively, you should thrive in group dynamics, maintaining a broad network of contacts. Additionally, you must remain organized, set clear priorities, plan strategically with realistic timelines, and consistently meet deadlines.
