General 

Area:  Market Development

Job Title:  Technical and Sales Manager

Reports to (Job Title): Market Development Director

Job Purpose

This role strategically develops and maintains relationships with customers and key stakeholders and identifies new commercial opportunities for existing products and services. 

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop value added support to customers aiming to build long term relationships and deliver on customer needs. 

• Drive sales and contract follow-up towards existing and new customers.

• Support the development of Technical Services Program to ensure optimal use and development of products and services.

• Proactive participation in marketing activities.

• Actively promotes a quality-led approach and be looking for continuous improvement in all areas of the business.

Qualifications:

• Strong relation builder, with the ability to influence colleagues, customers, and key stakeholders.

• Self-starter, able to identify problems before they arise and work with the team to solve them.

• Knowledge of project management principles & experience in their implementation is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and promote plans and ideas successfully. 

• Strategic and integrated thinker who identify opportunities and have a positive impact on business growth.
• Fluent Norwegian and English (oral and written).

Experience and Education: 

• Field experience and with a solid network within the salmon industry.

• Experience and knowledge of the salmon farming industry with relevant education in veterinary medicine, fish health biology or other relevant master’s degree.

  • Competence and experience in clinical development is a plus. 
    

Location:

Flexible (preferably along the coast), frequent national travel is required and some international depending on business needs.
